414 Light Street is located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Seaport, on the corner of West Conway Street and Light Street, directly overlooking the city’s historic Inner Harbor. Construction began on site in 2016, and the residential skyscraper was completed in 2018, after topping out at 44 floors. Reaching 500 ft at its spire, 414 Light Street, the 3rd tallest building in the City of Baltimore and the tallest residential building in the State of Maryland. UBS began shed construction in August 2016 and hoist installation in April 2017. 125 ft of canopy protection was put up on Conway Street for public overhead. An additional 75 ft of canopy protection was put up for the worker’s overhead. 300 ft of canopy protection was put up on Light Street for public overhead. Two separate hoists were installed on-site, a 7,000lb. capacity dual hoist and 7,000 lb. capacity single hoist. The dual hoist and single hoist both serviced from the ground floor to the 44th floor, each covering a total of 463 ft.
